Cable Beach House Redevelopment.
Studio Trentin were engaged to create concept designs for Cable Beach House, a Broome Shire-owned hospitality venue. The brief was to re-imagine the building as a contemporary destination embedded within the Cable Beach Foreshore Precinct. The project focuses on strengthening the relationship between architecture, landscape, and public life through a restrained and context-responsive design approach.
Positioned alongside the beachfront boardwalk, the redevelopment introduces a lightweight alfresco intervention that enhances visitor amenity while preserving open space, pedestrian movement, and key view corridors to the beach. Materiality, shading, and careful spatial planning, have been used to create a cohesive and welcoming public experience.
The project transforms an ageing asset into a vibrant, year-round destination that supports community activity, tourism, and the evolving identity of Cable Beach.
